“PPWR deadlines” widget — a countdown on your website
⏱ Updated: 2026-10-30 · source: Regulation (EU) 2025/40 + EC Guidance C(2026) 3702
Show your visitors how many days are left until the next PPWR obligations. The card updates itself and collects no data.
In brief
- A small card counting down to the next PPWR deadlines — for an association, a packaging shop or an industry blog.
- One line of code, zero cookies, zero external requests apart from one file from ppwrapka.pl.
- Free; the only condition is keeping the “Source: PPWRapka.pl” link.
Preview
This is the widget in the light (default) version and the dark version with two deadlines. The day count is recalculated on every page view, and deadlines that have passed disappear by themselves.
Embed code
Paste the snippet where the card should appear — in an article, a sidebar or the footer. It works in any system that lets you insert HTML (WordPress “Custom HTML” block, Shopify, Webflow, Joomla).
<div data-ppwr-terminy data-lang="en"></div>
<script src="https://ppwrapka.pl/widget/ppwr-terminy.js" async></script>Options
| Attribute | Values | Effect |
|---|---|---|
data-lang | pl · en | Card language. Defaults to the page language (lang attribute), otherwise Polish. |
data-limit | 1–5 | How many upcoming deadlines to show. Default 3. |
data-theme | light · dark | Light or dark version. Default light. |
Privacy and security
The widget stores no cookies or browser data, counts no views and sends no requests — all dates are written into the script itself. The card lives in a Shadow DOM, so your site's styles will not break it and its styles will not change your site. If your site has a Content-Security-Policy, add https://ppwrapka.pl to the script-src directive. The server delivers the file with Access-Control-Allow-Origin: * and Cross-Origin-Resource-Policy: cross-origin, so it also works on cross-origin-isolated pages.
Where the dates come from
The deadlines come from Regulation (EU) 2025/40 (PPWR) and match the PPWR deadlines page: minimum rotations for reusable packaging (12 February 2027), compostability of selected formats (12 February 2028), harmonised labels (12 August 2028), recyclability grades and first recycled-content targets (1 January 2030), recycling at scale (2035), only grades A and B (2038) and higher recycled-content targets (2040). When the rules change, we update the file on our side — the embedded code stays the same.
